La La Land 2024: A Year in Review

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared with you this year. From launching stunning new collections to welcoming fresh talent and exciting collaborations, it’s been a year full of creativity, inspiration, and gratitude. Here are some highlights:

Our 2024 Collections

  Dynasty of Nature

  This collection brought the elegance of Delftware porcelain art into the heart of the Australian bush. Illustrated by our in-house artist Laura Ramos, the intricate blue monochromatic scenes captured Australia’s natural beauty in a sophisticated, timeless way.

  

  Sacred Country Vol 2 

  We were honoured to have shared the same canvas as Bundjalung woman, Holly Sanders, in our recent collaboration - Sacred Country Vol. 2. Our detailed illustrations of Australian flora and fauna beautifully intertwine with Holly's contemporary First Nation paintings, creating a vibrant tribute to this sacred land.

  

  Happy Days 

  Our adorable koalas, Bob & Barb, took centre stage as they explored Australia’s favourite cities in this cheerful, travel-inspired collection. These delightful souvenirs have been a favourite for visitors and locals alike.

  

  G’Day Australia

   Illustrated by Murilo Manzini, this collection showcased iconic Australian destinations in stunning collages. It’s a love letter to the country’s diverse landscapes, perfect for mementos and gifts. Keep an eye out for new states in 2025!

  

  Life in Colour

   A celebration of summer’s vibrant hues, this collection by Murilo Manzini brought hand-painted illustrations to life, embodying the joy of food across the world.

  

  Good Evening Vol. 2

   Laura Ramos captured the enchanting beauty of Australia’s twilight fauna and flora in this collection. From koalas to quolls, each piece highlighted the magic of nature after dark.

  

  
  Italian Summer

  Murilo Manzini’s Mediterranean-inspired collection whisked us away to Italy with its vibrant dining spreads and stylish décor. It was a visual feast celebrating Italy’s food and regions and sold out in record time!

  

  Tribute Artists Music Edition

  This collection paid homage to musical legends like Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury, and many more. Each piece honoured their profound influence on the music world, making it a standout collection of the year.

New Products

This year, we introduced Australian-made soaps, adding a luxurious touch to our product lineup. Beautifully scented and crafted with care, they quickly became a customer favourite.

We also welcomed Australian-made quality art prints, offering stunning designs that bring a touch of elegance and creativity into your home. Each print is crafted with precision and care, celebrating local artistry.

Welcoming New Talent

We expanded our creative family with two new artists: Bronte Goodieson & Jon Ching. Their unique styles have brought fresh perspectives and exciting energy to our collections.

Bronte Goodieson

Bronte Goodieson is a Sydney-based artist, she works both digitally and traditionally; Her range of prints and artwork is stocked among boutiques nation-wide. The nature of her work is inspired by coast and ocean living.

Jon Ching

Jon Ching grew up steeped in natural beauty on the island of O’ahu, Hawai’i, which formed the foundation of his deep fascination with the natural and wild world. A self-taught painter, Jon’s devoted art practice and detailed realism is inspired by the interconnectedness of nature. While dedicated to the minute idiosyncrasies of flora, fauna, and fungi, Jon’s work is a surreal imagining of what limitless wonders and combinations nature can produce.
