Imogen Joy

Imogen is an English Illustrator, based in Sydney, Australia. Since early childhood, she was encouraged to draw by her mother, an artist and art teacher who nurtured her love of art and ability to think creatively. Her work is highly imaginative, with a strong sense of story-telling and the magical and whimsical. Subjects she loves to explore include, birds and animals, people, and motifs from nature.

Her educational background is in fine art where Imogen specialised in drawing and printmaking, but was delighted to find a voice through illustration and surface pattern design which have become the perfect vehicle to express her whimsical themes and share her work with a wider audience.
