Kayla Reay

Kayla Reay is based in Sydney’s Inner West and has a passion for illustration and nature. As a life-long bird fanatic, she brings this enthusiasm to the paper with purposeful pencil strokes and eye-catching colours which intend to reflect the unique personalities of each character she captures. Creating is meditative for Kayla and she always creates alongside an oversized cup of tea and her budgerigar, Buckwheat. Kayla works traditionally with polychromos pencils and her pieces celebrate the diversity and colours within Australian flora and fauna.
