Viva La Vida

Viva La Vida is a collection that celebrates the incredible life of Frida, taking glimpses from her dreams, meditations, and visions, we manifested them into powerful illustrations as a homage to Frida's colourful world.

Each element reflects the aspects of Frida's life, chilis and limes from aromatic Mexico, references to Catholicism from Frida's religious upbringing, and the monkey symbolizes her children she, unfortunately, was unable to have. 

Although her life experienced so much turmoil, Frida is celebrated to this day for her ability to look beyond the darkness and bring colour into her life.
